Message from the Chief Executive Officer
Hon Dr.Eunice Otuko Apio
Chief Executive Officer, FAPAD Uganda
“We are intentionally building an agile, learning organisation that can respond quickly and responsibly to emerging risks and opportunities.”

FAPAD continues to evolve – strengthening digital systems, data use and programme integration so that every shilling invested translates into measurable, meaningful change on the ground. Our teams in the field and at head office have worked tirelessly to keep programmes running even in the face of shocks.

We are scaling collaborations across sectors, embracing innovation and ensuring that our internal policies reflect the highest standards of integrity and safeguarding. This includes continuous improvement in financial management, monitoring, evaluation and learning.

I thank our Board for the strategic guidance, our staff for their dedication, and our donors and partners for your confidence in FAPAD. Together, we will continue to advance peace, justice and sustainable development in Northern Uganda and beyond.

Message from the Executive Director
s.Joyce Akello E
Executive Director, FAPAD Uganda
“Our work is grounded in the daily realities of communities – listening first, co-creating solutions and standing with them for the long term.”

This year has reaffirmed the power of community-led action. From village savings groups and farmer field schools, to human rights structures and youth collectives, FAPAD’s role has been to catalyse and accompany the energy that already exists within communities.

We have strengthened our programming in sustainable livelihoods, peace building and social justice; invested in staff wellbeing and learning; and deepened collaborations with local governments, development partners and civil society.

Looking ahead, we will prioritise climate resilience, inclusive governance and safeguarding, ensuring that women, youth and other marginalised groups are at the centre of decision-making. I am grateful to every person and institution that continues to trust and support FAPAD’s work.

Message from the Chairperson, Board of Directors
[Name of Chairperson]
Chairperson, FAPAD Board of Directors
“Our commitment is to ensure that every programme decision reflects the voices, dignity and rights of the people of Lango and beyond.”

On behalf of the Board of Directors, I extend my deep appreciation to our partners, staff and community structures that continue to walk this journey with FAPAD. Over the past year we have witnessed communities recover, organise and speak with a stronger voice on issues that affect their lives.

As a Board, we remain focused on strong governance, accountability and strategic oversight so that the organisation continues to deliver impact in a complex, changing context. We will keep investing in systems, leadership and partnerships that safeguard the organisation and expand our reach to the most vulnerable.

We invite you to engage with our work, challenge us to do better and join hands as we pursue a peaceful, just and equitable society.
